Responsibilities:
• Provide expert guidance and advice to the Behband team on matters related to international trade
• Stay up-to-date on changes in import/export regulations, customs compliance, and trade agreements
• Review and advise on customs documentation, including import/export licenses, bills of lading, and other related documents
• Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
• Conduct audits of international trade activities and identify areas for improvement
• Work with logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective international trade operations
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, including customs officials and trade associations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business, or a related field
• Proven experience in international trade, with a strong understanding of import/export regulations and customs compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with trade compliance software and tools
• Familiarity with international trade agreements, such as the WTO and NAFTA
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed
